INSTITUTIONAL  PLAN 

AIM: Our aim is to provide quality education, life building, man making, character making, assimilation of ideas which go along way in the personality development of the Tribal Population and also to increase educational opportunities to the Tribal population.

HISTORY FROM INCEPTION: The School A.P. Residential School (ST-Boys), Seethampeta was set up by Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions Society (Regd.), Hyderabad, vide GO.Ms.No.118/SW/E1.Dept, Dated.09.08.1984. it was run under the Society till 1998. During it was upgraded as Upgraded Residential Junior College (Boys), in 10th August,1996 through Vide (GO.Ms.No.51, Social Welfare Tribal Welfare Education Department, Dated.03.06.1998) 76 Institutions are run under this Society up to bifurcation on July, 2007. After that the Schools and Colleges have been bifurcation through vide Proceedings Rc.No.1190/D2/2007 into 127 Institutions.  
Our URJC has been bifurcated on 4th August 2007 through vide proceedings R.C.No. 1190/D2/2007. It is named, Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Residential Junior College (Boys), located at ITDA, Complex of Seethampeta. Qualified and experienced Junior Lecturers handled the Classes. Special study hours are conducted to help the low achievers. All the Junior Lecturers are staying in the  campus to guide the students in their academic, Co-Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities.

WORKING DAYS AND VACATIONS:  The Junior College reopens after summer 1st June. The Academic year comprises of three terms. The 1st term ends with the commencement of DASARA Holidays. The 2nd term ends with the commencement of Sankranthi Holidays and the 3rd term ends with Summer Vacation. The total working days of the College is 196

ADMISSIONS: Students are admitted into the 1st Year Intermediate MPC, B.P.C, H.E.C and Vocational Groups A&T, CGA through Counseling. Selection process is done as per the instructions issued by the GURUKULAM. Counseling is held at APTWRJC (Boys), Seethampeta. Required and relevant certificates are to be produced by the selected candidates. Our Junior College is equipped with 6 Computers, experienced faculty will handled classes in computers and also 5 Digital Class Rooms and 01 Vertical Class Room

GAMES & SPORTS: Every student is encouraged to participate in all types of Physical education activities. One Acre Play Ground is provided for the following games: Volley Ball, Ball Badminton, Shuttle, Tennicoit, Kabaddi, Kho-kho, Shot-put, Disc throw, etc., 

MODE OF PAYMENT OF FEE: Selected Candidates need not pay any fee. Fee will be paid by the GURUKULAM it self. Accommodation is provided for every student.

EAMCET CLASS: EAMCET Classes are conducted for M.P.C & B.P.C Students, every morning and evening.  Special timetable is prepared and implemented for EAMCET Students  as prescribed by the Gurukulam On the other hand  Humanities Group  students will have tutorials altogether.

LIBRARY:  Library facility is provided for college students with over 700 Books. Students are expected to refer books and newspapers etc. Issue Registers are maintained to issue stock, both to the students and to the lecturers as well.  EAMCET Coaching Books (J.P. Series and Deepthi Publications), D.Ed Entrance Test Books, Dictionaries, Question banks and Test papers are there in the stock for issue.

EXAMINATIONS: Four Unit Tests, Three Terminal Examinations (Quarterly, Half-yearly and Pre- Final Examinations) and Special Tests are conducted according the prescribed calendar of events given by the GURUKULAM, Hyderabad. Half Yearly, Pre-Public Examinations and Special Tests will be conducted for the students on the lines of Public Examinations so as to enable the students to appear for the final examinations with confidence.  Students are encouraged to write two assignments, one flash test   and one class test in a month.

HOSTEL:  Students are accommodated in the dormitories. Each student is provided with one Blanket, one Durrie, one Towel & one Woolen Blanket. 

FOOD:  A well balanced, nutritious vegetarian diet with Milk product, Raagi malt, Eggs, Sweets, fresh Vegetables and Fruits are provided according to the Menu Chart.

HEALTH:  A Health Assistant (ANM) is staying in the campus to look after the sick students. Periodical medical Checkup is arranged to the students. Hot water is supplied for drinking.

UNIFORM: Prescribed Uniform will be supplied by GURUKULAM to the Students.4 pairs of uniform is given to each student.

PLAN OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES: All lecturers prepare Annual plan in the beginning of the academic year according the Academic Organizer supplied by the Board of Intermediate Education. They prepare teaching notes once in a week and complete the syllabus as per the organizer.

The Principal plans and prepares time tables for Class/flash test, Assignments, Remedial Teaching classes, etc., and instruct the faculty to follow accordingly.   

The Principal encourages the faculty to attend the Orientation Programmes and in-service Trainings for improving the infrastructure and the teaching aids as well.
